Burning Petals Music was formed in 1996 by composer/producer Richard Anthony Jay and is based in South-West England.

It has provided music for some of the world's biggest broadcasters and brands, including Paramount Pictures (USA), Columbia Pictures (USA), Nintendo (Europe), HBO (USA), SKY (UK), Discovery Channel (UK), AOL (USA), NHK (Japan), Formula 1 (UK), Fiat (Italy) and Honda (Japan).

Its downtempo/chillout label, Burning Petals Records, was launched in 2009.
